Creating this slide show was both a catalyst and very encumbering. Family and friends from all over sent me photos and I muse on Jim as a young boy, young man and through his stages of life before I met him. I found myself looking at Jim’s face intently in the photos. Emotions welled of sadness, longing, upset and love.
What struck me in the photos of him as a younger man, I realize even more deeply his love for children. I think he had created this proud protection layer for a inner loss for his own children. I did see his heart explode with little Miss Kaya and this collaborates my consideration.
